DMK Alliance Allocates 2 Seats to Kongunadu Makkal National Party
The DMK alliance has allotted two assembly constituencies to the Kongunadu Makkal National Party ahead of the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
Ahead of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly elections, seat-sharing negotiations among alliance partners have reached the final stage, with several parties announcing constituency allocations.
As part of this arrangement, the DMK-led alliance has allotted two assembly constituencies to the Kongunadu Makkal National Party (KMNP).
The party will contest the elections under the Rising Sun symbol, which is the official symbol of the DMK.
The alliance agreement was formally signed at Anna Arivalayam in Chennai in the presence of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin.
KMNP leader Eeswaran received the agreement document along with party functionaries during the event.
The development marks another step in the finalization of alliance seat-sharing arrangements ahead of the upcoming state assembly elections.
