Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science organized a two-day national seminar on climate adaptation and green growth with over 150 participants from across India.

A two-day national seminar began at Sri Ramakrishna College of Arts and Science, Pealamedu, organized by the Department of Postgraduate Commerce with financial support from AGDTI.

The seminar was conducted on the theme “Climate Adaptation and Green Growth: India’s Path to Sustainable Development.”

The inaugural function was presided over by Mr. Sivakumar, Secretary of the College.

During the event, Dr. Thiagarajan, Joint Registrar- IIT Palakkad, released the seminar research proceedings, which included the collection of academic papers presented during the event.

The seminar attracted more than 150 participants from across the country, highlighting the growing interest in topics related to climate adaptation and sustainable development.

A total of 120 research papers were submitted and presented during the seminar by scholars, academicians, and researchers from various institutions.

The event was coordinated by Dr. Bavin Banu, Head of the Department of Postgraduate Commerce, and Mr. Sivarama Krishnan, Seminar Coordinator, along with faculty members of the department.

The seminar provided a platform for researchers and academicians to discuss innovative ideas, research findings, and strategies related to climate resilience, green growth, and sustainable development in India.
