The BCCI released the list of award recipients for the annual ceremony that celebrates outstanding achievements in Indian cricket.

The Naman Awards 2026 will also be a historic event as the BCCI plans to honour five Indian teams that recently won major International Cricket Council tournaments.

Under the coaching of Gautam Gambhir, the Indian men’s team recently won the ICC Men's T20 World Cup last week, securing the title for the third time in the country’s history.

In addition, the following teams will also be honoured during the ceremony:

Meanwhile, Smriti Mandhana will receive the Best International Cricketer award in the women’s category for the fifth time, highlighting her consistent performances for India.

The Lifetime Achievement Awards, presented in the name of C. K. Nayudu, will honour three legendary figures of Indian cricket.

Roger Binny was the highest wicket-taker for India during the historic 1983 Cricket World Cup victory. He later served as a selector, coach and also as the President of the BCCI from 2022 to 2025.

Rahul Dravid is regarded as one of India’s greatest batsmen, scoring over 24,000 international runs. He also played a major role in shaping the next generation of players and served as head coach of the Indian team until the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024.

Former Indian women’s team captain Mithali Raj will also receive the honour for her immense contribution to women’s cricket in India.

The BCCI stated that awards will be presented across several categories during the ceremony, and the Naman Awards event is scheduled to take place tomorrow.
