TVK Denies Alliance Talks with BJP Ahead of Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections
Actor Vijay’s Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam has denied reports of alliance talks with BJP ahead of the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.
Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam has denied reports suggesting that the party is holding alliance talks with the Bharatiya Janata Party ahead of the upcoming Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly election.
Recently, speculation had been circulating in media reports and on social media claiming that TVK, led by Vijay, was negotiating a political alliance with the BJP.
Responding to the rumours, TVK’s Joint General Secretary and chief spokesperson CTR Nirmal Kumar issued a clarification on his X (formerly Twitter) account.
In his statement, he urged the public not to believe the rumours and said that certain media outlets and social media platforms were spreading false information for political gain.
He clarified that the reports claiming alliance talks between TVK and parties such as the BJP, All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, and political leaders like V. K. Sasikala and S. Ramadoss are completely false.
Nirmal Kumar stated that no discussions have taken place with any of these parties or leaders at any level. He also noted that similar rumours had been spread in the past linking TVK with other political parties, including the Indian National Congress, which later proved to be untrue.
He further alleged that such baseless reports were being spread deliberately to create confusion among the public and party supporters.
Nirmal Kumar concluded by urging responsible media organizations and social media users to verify the authenticity of information before sharing it, emphasizing that truth will ultimately prevail.
