JCI Saravanampatti celebrated International Women’s Day at Keeranatham by honoring women sanitation workers with gifts and appreciation for their dedication to community cleanliness.

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, JCI Saravanampatti organized a special celebration titled “Rooted in Resilience” at the Keeranatham Panchayat President Office in Coimbatore to honor the dedicated women sanitation workers serving the local community.

During the event, the sanitation workers were recognized for their invaluable service in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the village. As a token of appreciation, the organizers distributed sarees and steel water bottles as part of the Sustainable Sipping Project, along with lunch provided under the DAAN Project.

The program was graced by Chief Guest Mr. R. Palanisamy, Panchayat President of Keeranatham, who appreciated the initiative taken by JCI Saravanampatti in acknowledging the contributions of frontline sanitation workers. He encouraged the public to respect and support individuals who work tirelessly to keep the environment clean.

JFM Jesco Mahamood, Area Coordinator, and JC Aspire Anthony, Chairman of JCOM V Erode 6.0, attended the event as Guests of Honour. In their addresses, they emphasized the importance of community service and highlighted the strength, resilience, and dedication of women workers.

The event was organized under the leadership of JFM Javid Hussain, President of JCI Saravanampatti, with JC Ramya serving as Secretary and JC Alagesan as Treasurer. Members of the organization and local residents also participated in the celebration.

The program concluded by recognizing the women sanitation workers as “silent heroines” who play a vital role in maintaining public health and cleanliness within the community.
