Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar Wins Gold with World Record at Asian Shooting Championship
India’s Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar won gold with a new world record in the men’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions event at the Asian Shooting Championship in Delhi.
At the ongoing Asian Shooting Championship in Delhi, Indian shooter Aishwary Pratap Singh Tomar created history by winning the gold medal with a new world record in the Men’s 50m Rifle 3 Positions final.
Tomar scored 362 points to clinch the top spot, while fellow Indian Neeraj Kumar secured the silver medal with 361.8 points, and Akhil Sheoran won the bronze medal with 343.5 points, completing a strong podium finish for India.
In the team event, the Indian trio delivered another outstanding performance, winning the gold medal with a total of 1,769 points. Japan secured the silver medal (1,754 points), while Kazakhstan took the bronze (1,748 points).
The remarkable achievement further strengthened India’s dominance in shooting and highlighted the country’s rising excellence in international shooting competitions.
