OPS Alleges EPS Tried to Forge Alliance with Vijay; AIADMK Denies Claim

Former Chief Minister O. Panneerselvam has alleged that Edappadi K. Palaniswami attempted to form an alliance with actor-turned-politician Vijay.
Speaking at a public meeting organized by the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam in Srivilliputhur, Virudhunagar district, OPS criticized the leadership of the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, accusing former ministers of damaging the party’s reputation.
He claimed that EPS had approached Vijay seeking an alliance, but the actor declined the proposal. OPS also made strong remarks about the current AIADMK leadership, questioning how voters would place their trust in them.
However, Edappadi K. Palaniswami has consistently denied any attempt to form an alliance with Vijay or his party, maintaining that no such discussions have taken place.
The conflicting statements have added a new layer of political tension in Tamil Nadu, as parties continue to strategize ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections.
