The parks will be built with a total area of around 60,000 square feet each, comprising a ground floor plus three additional floors.
The Tamil Nadu government has been actively promoting IT development in tier-2 and tier-3 cities through the TIDEL Neo initiative, aimed at supporting innovation, entrepreneurship, and regional growth. Mini TIDEL parks are already operational in Villupuram, Thanjavur, Salem, Thoothukudi, Tiruppur, Vellore, and Karaikudi, while construction is underway in Tiruvannamalai and Namakkal. A new park was also recently announced in Nagercoil, Kanniyakumari district.
The upcoming IT parks are expected to provide local employment, especially benefiting young graduates and women by offering technology-related jobs within their home districts. The initiative is also projected to boost regional socio-economic development and contribute to the overall growth of Tamil Nadu’s digital economy.
