In connection with the alleged misappropriation of gold and funds collected for the installation of a new golden flagstaff at Sabarimala Temple, anti-corruption officials have recorded statements from actors Mohanlal and Dileep.
The case pertains to complaints that gold and monetary donations received for installing a new golden flagstaff at the temple were improperly handled. As part of the ongoing investigation, authorities questioned several individuals associated with the donations.
Actors Mohanlal and Dileep, who were among the donors for the project, were asked to provide their statements to assist in the probe. Officials clarified that their statements were recorded in their capacity as donors and not as accused persons at this stage.
The investigation is currently underway, and further developments are expected based on the findings of the anti-corruption authorities.
