NIV PRAKASAM ENTHRALLS COIMBATORE WITH "AN HOUR?"

Coimbatore was treated to some quality humour on the first Saturday of 2026 courtesy Niv Prakasam

In her one hour performance to a sell out crowd of 40 people, Niv Prakasam made "An Hour?" count with free flowing comedy that struck the right chords and the funny bones of a receptive crowd. 

The performance involved jokes on different topics ranging from generation shifts, arranged and love marriages, cultural diversity, digital lifestyles etc. With her  intellect, narration and experience, Niv Prakasam ensured that the humour flew well with the audience. It was evident through the constant sounds of laughter and applause. 

The performance was supposed to be a test show where she planned to test her jokes with a cordial audience. In that case, she passed the test with flying colours as almost all of her jokes found their way to the audience. The audience (most of whom were familiar with her having followed her previous performances) enjoyed her performance and found it enthralling. One of the participants said that her perspective on life and her style of narration adds a lot of fun. He mentioned that he thoroughly enjoyed the humour and returns home very light and cheerful. 

Niv Prakasam was appreciative of the audience and complimented them for being very warm and supportive. She expressed happiness in response to ticket sales and to the experimental jokes. 

The event took place today from 6 PM to 7 PM at Abhinayalaya Art Centre, Sivananda Colony, Coimbatore.
