Essential Commodity Prices Will Not Rise Despite Crude Oil Increase: Nirmala Sitharaman
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman assured in the Lok Sabha that essential commodity prices will remain stable despite the recent rise in global crude oil prices.
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has assured that the prices of essential commodities will not increase despite the recent rise in global crude oil prices.
Speaking in the Lok Sabha, the Finance Minister said that although crude oil prices have increased in the international market, India’s inflation remains under control.
She emphasized that the government is closely monitoring the economic situation and taking necessary measures to maintain price stability.
According to Sitharaman, the current economic conditions indicate that the rise in global crude oil prices will not have any direct impact on the prices of essential goods in the country.
Her statement comes amid concerns about rising energy prices and their potential effect on the cost of living in India.
