At least 10 soldiers lost their lives after an army vehicle plunged into a 200-foot-deep gorge in the Doda district of Jammu and Kashmir. The accident occurred while the personnel were traveling through a hilly stretch of road.
More than 10 soldiers were rescued with serious injuries and have been rushed to nearby hospitals for treatment. Rescue operations were carried out by local authorities and security forces, and further investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
