Sherfane Rutherford expressed gratitude to God after delivering a match-winning performance against England national cricket team and earning the Player of the Match award.

After England won the toss and opted to bowl, the West Indies cricket team posted a strong 196/6 in 20 overs. England, in reply, were bowled out for 166 in 19 overs, handing West Indies a convincing victory.

Rutherford played a crucial unbeaten knock of 76 runs, guiding his team to a competitive total.

Speaking after the match, Rutherford said he was grateful for the opportunity to play in such a big game. He added that his injured fingers were improving and he hoped to be fully fit before the next match.
