The Deendayal Port Authority in Kandla, Gujarat, has announced that it is prepared to handle 22 cargo ships within the next 72 hours.
According to an official statement from the port authority, shipping schedules have been reorganized to accommodate the vessels, and port staff are working efficiently to ensure smooth operations and high-quality services.
An emergency coordination system has also been established, involving ship traffic management systems, docking facilities, cargo handling teams, and vessel monitoring units to manage the incoming traffic effectively.
