At least 61 people have lost their lives in Afghanistan following three days of heavy snowfall and intense rainfall across the country. The severe weather has disrupted daily life and caused widespread damage in several regions.
Authorities reported that weather conditions remain extremely poor in at least 15 provinces. More than 500 houses have reportedly collapsed or suffered major damage due to the harsh conditions. Rescue and relief efforts are underway as officials assess the full extent of the destruction and provide assistance to affected families.
