Grand Triple Festival at Kaumara Mutt
A grand triple festival comprising Guru Pooja, book release, and award presentations was held on Tuesday at the Coimbatore Kaumara Mutt.
The event marked the 69th annual Guru Pooja of Ramananda Swamigal, the founder of the Coimbatore Kaumara Mutt; the release of books authored by Thandapani Swamigal; and an award ceremony honoring individuals who have excelled in education, music, and social service. The celebrations took place at the Kumaragurupara God Hall within the Kaumara Mutt premises at Chinnavedampatti, Coimbatore.
The function was presided over by Ramananda Kumaragurupara Swamigal of Siravai Adheenam. Former Director of Collegiate Education, Dr. Kumarasamy, delivered the welcome address.
During the event, the books of Thandapani Swamigal were released by Perur Adheenam Thavathiru Santhalinga Maruthachala Adigalar, Mayilam Bommapuram Adheenam Sivagnana Balaya Swamigal, Palani Adheenam Sadhu Shanmuga Adigalar, Tharapuram Varanpalayam Thirunavukkarasu Thirumadam Meun Sivachala Adigalar, Thensherimalai Adheenam Muthu Sivaramasamy Adigalar, and Kamatchipuri Adheenam Saktha Sri Panchalingeswara Swamigal.

Addressing the gathering, Ramananda Kumaragurupara Swamigal stated that the Kaumara Mutt, founded 135 years ago by Ramananda Swamigal, has been functioning with the noble objective of spreading the principles of non-violence, abstinence from meat, devotion to God, and righteous conduct across the world.
In the evening, a chariot procession (Ratha Yatra) was held, during which the adorned chariot carrying the idol of Ramananda Swamigal was taken to more than 10 temples across the Chinnavedampatti, Saravanampatti, and Sivanandapuram areas. A large number of devotees participated in the procession.
